About the opportunity

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that values collaboration, accuracy and service. Your work will directly support employees, leaders and candidates and contribute to positive workplace experiences.

Reporting to the Coordinator People Operations, you’ll work collaboratively with two other People Operations Officers and you’ll gain broad exposure to operational HR across the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing friendly, professional support as the first point of contact for people‑related enquiries.
  • Coordinating recruitment administration, including advertising, pre‑employment checks and contracts
  • Processing employee changes such as higher duties, leave arrangements and exits.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Supporting reporting, compliance and records management.
  • Ensure processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with policies, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation.
  • Partnering with leaders and employees to deliver positive and consistent people experiences.

About you

You’re a people‑centred HR professional who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in delivering accurate, reliable work. You’re organised, adaptable and comfortable working at pace in a busy, transactional environment.

You communicate clearly, build positive working relationships, and bring a calm, professional approach to everything you do.

You’ll also bring:

  • Qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in an HR operations or administration role.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft 365.
  • High integrity and a strong commitment to equity and inclusion.
