We are looking for a friendly and detail-driven Administration Officer(s) to join the dynamic Glen Eira Leisure (GEL) team. Based primarily at GESAC, you’ll be part of a collaborative admin team supporting members, staff, and the day-to-day operations of our three sites.

This role is offered at 0.6FTE (22.8 hours/week). However, for the right candidate(s), we are open to a job-sharing arrangement. If you are interested in this role but unable to commit to the full 0.6FTE, we still encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities include:

In this varied and fast-paced role, you will:

  • Handle customer enquiries across phone, email, and in-person.
  • Process membership requests, cancellations, credits, and refunds.
  • Manage and maintain customer account details.
  • Respond to and resolve billing enquiries and disputes and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations across GEL facilities.

About You

You are a natural problem-solver with strong admin skills and a passion for great service. You are confident communicating with a wide range of people and comfortable handling sensitive or complex enquiries with care and professionalism.

  • Experience in administration, customer service, or membership-based accounts.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Confidence with systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
