About the role
As a Parking Appeals Officer, you will assess and determine the outcome of appeals relating to parking infringement notices, ensuring decisions are fair and compliant with relevant legislation. You will also support the day-to-day operations of the parking infringement system, contributing to effective enforcement and community compliance.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assess applications for internal review in accordance with Council guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Undertake other duties relating to parking infringements in addition to the internal review process.
  • Implement and monitor the Infringement Management System and provide periodic reporting of activities and service.

About you
You are a confident decision-maker with a sharp eye for detail, able to apply regulations fairly and consistently. Your clear communication and professional approach will help you handle customer concerns with confidence and care.

The following is also required:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in regulatory compliance areas in local government or related sector.
  • Good understanding of infringements and Magistrate’s Court processes (desirable).
  • Victorian Drivers License.
