About the Role

In this role, you will support the Leisure Systems Team Leader in the technical and functional operation, maintenance, and support of the software and systems at GEL. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that these systems operate effectively, meet the business's needs, and are fully utilised by both staff and customers. In keeping with this you will be expected to collaborate with our vendors for support and development requests.

You will also play a key role in the planning and implementation of new CRM feature sets and functional changes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • System Administrator: Act as a system administrator for PerfectGym and a variety of other vendor software utilised at GEL. No previous experience in these systems is required – however, experience with PerfectGym is favourable.
  • Feature and System Implementation: Test and implement new feature rollouts as well as create/update internal working documentation accordingly.
  • Organisational Collaboration: Collaborate with Council's IT department as well as external contractor support teams.
  • Systems Technician: Maintenance, troubleshooting, and the scheduling of remote/on-site service for vendor supplied software and hardware systems.

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Study or experience in a computing, technician, IT support and/or similar role.
  • High level knowledge of CRM back-office functions.
  • Experience in troubleshooting IT software and hardware issues.
  • High level understanding of API, or experience developing with API.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current CPR qualifications. 
  • Current Employee Working With Children's Check
