About the Role

We believe that learning to swim and water safety is a vital life skill. Our motto is I SWIM SO I CAN...

The focus of this role is to help build the self-esteem of children, enhance their confidence and provide professional swimming and water safety instruction in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. We want swimming lessons to be the best part of a child's day!

If successful in this role you will be appointed as a:

  • GELSwim Instructor - teaching learn to swim lessons run Monday to Friday in the mornings and after school as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings.
  • Aquatic Programs Swim Instructor - teaching School intensive programs which run Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3:00pm during school terms.

We will work with your availability.

Qualifications

  • Current Austswim Certificate of Swimming and Water Safety OR Swim Australia Teacher (SAT) OR LSV Swimming and Water Safety
  • CPR Qualification [HLTAID009]
  • Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain prior to employment)
  • National Police Check
  • Pre-employment medical
