Housekeeper

  • Shift times available: Monday to Sunday AM and PM shifts 07:30 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 20:00 across a 2-week roster
     Must have full availability for Monday to Sunday shifts.
  • $31.95 per hour + Superannuation (+ casual loading if applicable) 

About the role
We are seeking friendly, compassionate and professional people to join the team at Warrawee Community! This role helps to provide an optimal level of dignity, comfort, and quality of life for our residents.

As a Housekeeper you will undertake a variety of domestic and general kitchen duties including but not limited to:

  • Serving meals and beverages to residents and making a positive impact on their day
  • Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safe food handling practices
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Dusting 
  • Emptying rubbish bins
  • Spot cleaning

About you
 You work well in a team environment and strive to deliver the highest quality person-first care to each of our wonderful residents - always with a smile and a can-do approach. 

This is the resident’s home and as a Housekeeper you will make a positive impact with your compassionate and supportive approach. A passion for providing outstanding service to our Warrawee residents is essential and previous experience in Hospitality industry is preferred.

Do you possess these qualities and skills?

  • positive and "can-do" attitude 
  • good time management
  • moderate level of physical fitness
  • the ability to read and understand Food Safety Plans, OH&S guidelines and chemical labels
  • current Food Handling Certificate
  • knowledge of food preparation and associated equipment.

About Warrawee Community
Warrawee Community offers a home-like environment for our residents, comprising of six single story houses surrounded by lush gardens and grounds. The community is made up of 90 beautifully appointed single rooms featuring a bedroom with ensuite. Warrawee provides peace of mind for its residents whatever care level they choose.
