About the role
As a Disability Program Worker, you will support the development and delivery of the Disability Awareness in Schools Program. You will play a key role in educating students, community groups, and service clubs about disability awareness.

Other responsibilities include:

  • To develop informative and educational disability awareness presentations for groups including schools, community groups and service clubs.
  • To deliver presentations to students in a school setting.
  • To deliver presentations to groups including community groups and service clubs
  • To always promote a positive and professional image whilst duties are performed to meet the needs of the clients.

About you
As a Disability Program Worker, you will have a strong understanding of disability awareness and inclusion practices, and a passion for promoting understanding and positive change in schools and the community. If you are passionate about promoting inclusivity and raising awareness about disability, and you have a genuine desire to make a difference in the community, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

The following is also required:

  • Experience in working with children.
  • Ability to work in a community setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of disability issues.
