  • $35.55- $38.03 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation

About the role
As an Administration Officer, you will manage administrative duties and provide efficient services to clients, internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality in line with Council policies. You will support the development of streamlined systems to ensure high-quality Maternal and Child Health services, reflecting the Council’s values.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Respond to client enquiries in a timely, courteous and efficient manner and refer to the appropriate team member
  • Maintain and organise nurses’ appointment calendars to ensure calendars run efficiently
  • Work with the Maternal and Child Health Leadership Team in the rostering of staff and arrange relief cover during nurses’ planned leave periods
  • Reschedule appointments efficiently in a timely manner in the event of short notice personal leave

About you
You are a highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to manage appointments, coordinate rosters, and handle enquiries with efficiency and courtesy.
Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with the Maternal and Child Health team and external clients ensures a smooth and well-coordinated service delivery.

The following is also required:

  • Substantial administration experience
  • Current driver's licence is desirable
