  • $33.13- $35.22 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the part time role
  • $41.41- $44.03 per hour including casual loading (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the casual role
  • Shift timings for the part time role:  7.00am -15.00 pm on Fridays and every second Saturday.

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cook to prepare nutritious, homestyle meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents at Warrawee.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu.
  • High standards for hygiene in all aspects of food handling, serving and storage.
  • Be responsive to changes required in menu preparation to meet resident dietary requirements.
  • Undertake all routine and specialized cleaning of cooking equipment and kitchen fixtures

About you
You are a dedicated cook who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals that meet diverse dietary needs in a safe and supportive environment. You enjoy working as part of a team and bring a caring approach to your work. Experience in aged care or healthcare is a plus, but it's your passion for making a difference that truly sets you apart.

The following is also required:

  • Qualification in catering or related discipline or significant relevant experience
  • Food Handling / Hygiene Techniques Certificate

About Warrawee Community
Warrawee Community offers a home-like environment for our residents, comprising of six single storey houses surrounded by lush gardens and grounds. The community is made up of 90 beautifully appointed single rooms featuring a bedroom with ensuite. Warrawee provides peace of mind for its residents whatever care level they choose.
