  • Join our team as a Laundry Assistant and deliver efficient laundry care to our residents!
  • Part time permanent role
  • Casual role is also available
  • $30.63 - $31.52 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the part time role
  • $38.29 - $39.40 per hour including casual loading (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the casual role
  • Day and afternoon shifts available 7 days a week.

About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for laundering linen and personal clothing for residents, ensuring all items are cleaned in accordance with infection control standards and care instructions. Your work will help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all residents, with a focus on hygiene and quality care.

Other responsibilities include:

  • To assist in collecting all soiled laundry, treating stains appropriately, washing, drying, sorting and folding.
  • Attend minor repairs to personal clothing.
  • Attach woven labels to resident clothing where necessary using Ipso machine.
  • Assist in maintaining all stores and ordering of goods relating to laundry area.

The following is also required:

  • Experience in handling large quantities of laundry.
  • Sound organisational skills.
  • Ability to relate well to residents, families and staff.

The community is made up of 90 beautifully appointed single rooms featuring a bedroom with ensuite. Warrawee provides peace of mind for its residents whatever care level they choose.
