About the Role 
We are looking for friendly, organised and customer-focused Administration Officer(s) to join the dynamic Glen Eira Leisure (GEL) team. Based primarily at GESAC, you'll play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our three leisure facilities by providing high-quality administrative, membership and customer service support to members, staff and the community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling customer enquiries across phone, email, and in-person.
  • Processing membership requests, cancellations, credits, and refunds.
  • Managing and maintaining customer account details.
  • Responding to and resolving billing enquiries and disputes and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless operations across GEL facilities.

 

About You

You are a natural problem-solver with strong administrative skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. You communicate confidently with a diverse range of people and can manage sensitive or complex enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in an administration, customer service, membership, or client-facing role.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Sound technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • A collaborative approach and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates, or the willingness to obtain them.
