About the Role
As the Access and Inclusion Assistant Team Leader, you will support the Access and Inclusion Team Leader in the delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of programs and services that support Glen Eira Leisure's benevolent and community participation objectives.
You will provide day-to-day leadership and support to Every Body Active staff and volunteers while assisting with program delivery, administration, stakeholder engagement and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to Every Body Active staff and volunteers.

Program Delivery: Assist in the delivery, coordination and evaluation of Every Body Active programs and services.

Staff Development: Support staff and volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development.

Roster Coordination: Assist in developing and managing rosters to support effective program delivery.

Operational Support: Collaborate with Coordinators and Team Leaders to support facility operations, program delivery and service outcomes.

Customer Experience: Respond to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with community organisations, education providers and key stakeholders.

Program Quality: Monitor participation outcomes, program quality and customer satisfaction to support continuous improvement.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure policies, procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to while promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to service improvement initiatives and the development of new programs and participation opportunities.

Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering programs within a leisure, recreation, community or health-related environment.
- Experience supervising, supporting and developing staff and/or volunteers.
- Demonstrated commitment to community participation, inclusion and benevolent program outcomes.
- Strong customer service, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and complaint resolution skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate competing priorities and manage day-to-day operations.
- Strong organisational, administration and record-keeping skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, exercise sound judgement and implement practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
- Commitment to organisational values, continuous improvement and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
