About the role
As a Family Day Care Field Coordinator, you will support the delivery of high-quality, home-based care and education that is safe, flexible, and responsive to community needs. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with national regulations, council policies, and quality frameworks through regular home visits, training, and resource provision.

Other responsibilities include:

  • To monitor the provision of care and education within the educator’s home in accordance with national regulations, Council policies, and quality frameworks
  • To visit educators on a regular basis and provide support, guidance and advice on matters related to the care and education of children including: children’s health, emotional, social, physical and cognitive development
  • To monitor the learning and development of children in care to ensure that each child is developing to their full potential. Making referrals to the appropriate agencies for children needing further assessment or support.

About you
You are a motivated and supportive professional with experience in early childhood education and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and frameworks. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with educators and families. Your commitment to quality care and child safety guides everything you do.

The following is also required:

  • Minimum Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Experience as a Family Day Care Field Coordinator is desirable
  • First Aid qualification (HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 or equivalent)
  • CPR certificate and Anaphylaxis management certificate
  • Emergency Asthma Management certificate
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License
  • Excellent Computer Skills
