About the role
As a Maternal and Child Health Nurse, you will deliver high-quality services to families with children aged 0–6 years within the City of Glen Eira. These services will align with State and Local Government objectives and targets, adhere to professional standards of practice, and aim to improve outcomes for all children and families.

About the graduate program

Our Graduate Program will include:

  • Monthly meetings, debriefing, assistance with case studies and one on one sessions.
  • Extensive Council Induction and comprehensive Orientation program.
  • Nominated mentor for initial and ongoing support.
  • Externally facilitated clinical supervision sessions.

About you
To succeed in this role, you must meet the eligibility requirements to practise as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse in Victoria and possess:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (division1) and Registered Midwife with additional post graduate qualifications in Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Maternal and Child Health framework.
  • A current Victorian Driver’s licence and road worthy vehicle

Progressed candidates must undergo pre-employment screening as a standard procedure which will include Employee Working with Children Check, New National Police Record Check and Evidence of right to work in Australia.
