About Parks
Glen Eira City Councils Parks Services Department is looking for Open Space Maintenance Crew Members who are passionate and driven to provide excellent care of Glen Eira City Council’s parks and gardens.
There are several roles in our dedicated horticulture maintenance team, maintaining gardens in parks throughout the municipality. These roles involve working with skilled teams in partnership with stakeholders, both internal and external, to maintain our existing assets and places as well as create new, vibrant and sustainable ones that meet the current and future needs of our community.
About the role
We are seeking highly motivated, qualified, and experienced individuals to undertake day-to-day maintenance of Council’s parks and gardens. These team-based roles are an integral part of the Parks department, responsible for providing services that meet the needs of customers across the range of local government open space services.

About you
You are passionate about horticulture maintenance and high quality public open space, with the ability to work well in a team. These roles will be in our horticultural maintenance crews and require experience and proficiency in the safe operation and maintenance of a range of horticultural plant and equipment. You will also actively participate in reporting matters of health, safety and Council asset damage.
