  • $35.55 - $38.03 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation

About the role
As an Administrative Officer in the Youth Services team, you will provide administration, project, and customer enquiry support to the Youth Services team. Your role is key to ensuring smooth operations that help provide effective services for young people in the community. You will work closely with staff, stakeholders, and young people to support the department’s goals and initiatives.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Be a point of contact for general internal and external enquiries for Youth Services, undertake initial triage and direct such enquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Administration of the Youth Excellence Awards and the Extra MILE Awards.
  • Maintain the Youth Services Newsletter and keep the Youth Services mailing list up to date.
  • Maintenance of Youth Services computer files and databases.

About you
You are an organised and reliable individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for supporting youth services. You work well in a team, communicate effectively, and are committed to helping young people thrive in the community. You are proactive and ready to contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

The following is also required:

  • Relevant experience in an administrative/support position and/or relevant and appropriate qualifications in a similar role preferably in a Youth Services environment.
