About the role
Are you passionate about working outdoors, staying active and providing excellent care of local parks and gardens?
We are looking for a dedicated Crew Member to join the Horticulture Maintenance team, and help maintain gardens throughout the municipality.
You will play an important role in maintaining our existing assets and places as well as creating new, vibrant and sustainable spaces that meet the current and future needs of our community.

Parks Services is responsible for maintaining and improving some of Glen Eira's most valued community assets. From sportsgrounds, playgrounds and parks to trees, biodiversity and public open space, our teams help create places where the community can play, connect and thrive.
Our Open Space Assets team helps ensure these community assets remain safe, functional and enjoyable for everyone.
About you
You are passionate about horticulture and maintaining high quality public open space, and enjoy working in a team. You bring experience and proficiency in the safe operation and maintenance of a range of horticultural plant and equipment.
