About the role
Under the expert guidance of our Coordinator Building Operations, you'll be the driving force behind Operation, Maintenance and repair of all our buildings a. From overseeing minor works to managing maintenance contracts, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our spaces top-notch.

Your dedication to safety will be evident as you conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure compliance with legislative standards.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Investigate, report and assist the Coordinator Building Operations to implement proactive maintenance solutions to building issues
  • Assist with the preparation of specifications for works to be carried out on Council buildings and associated facilities
  • Implementing corrective maintenance plans
  • Recording and maintaining data
  • Responding to customer requests and contractor supervision

Who we are looking for
Do you have a knack for building maintenance, facilities management, or construction? Are you well-versed in the latest legislation and building techniques?

We're looking for someone who can build bridges with internal staff, community members, and contractors alike.

The following is also required:

  • A trade Certificate or tertiary qualification in building, facilities or construction related discipline and relevant experience or a lesser formal qualification with relevant experience
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence
